Here are some options for Tea that not only taste good but can also help with digestive issues, inflammation, sleep and lack of energy.

If you can, it is best to get loose leaf tea and use a strainer or infuser.

Green Tea – Loaded with antioxidants! Has anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic and anti-radiation properties. Does have caffeine, however the benefits of the EGCG (this is the main antioxidant component) far outweighs the caffeine content.

Matcha Green Tea  Powder is one of the absolute best forms of Green Tea you can drink. Has more antioxidant power than regular Green Tea, contains Chlorophyll, is a strong detoxifier and supplies balanced, grounded energy. Also contains the amino acid, L-Theanine. This helps with stress reduction and promoting a state of alert calmness. This tea is a great way to start your day or for that mid-afternoon pick me up!

Ginger is great for digestion and  liver support. Works wonders on upset stomachs as well as congested lungs and nasal cavities.

Peppermint, another great tea for digestion and for soothing stomach upsets. Also has positive cognitive effects, great for maintaining focus and staying alert.

Turmeric Tea is a fantastic tonic for the liver, a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Berry Teas are very tasty and can satisfy that sweet craving. Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Dandelion Root Tea is very supportive of the liver. Encourages the liver to properly perform it’s own natural detoxification process. Has also been toted as a good coffee “replacer.” It is not caffeinated but does slightly resemble coffee in taste, smell and colour.

Nettle Tea is one of the best anti-inflammatory teas available. It is great for runners and cyclists to help calm any inflammation that is present in the lungs.  Especially if you do these activities in a large city. It also has blood purifying qualities.

Sea Buckthorn Tea is one with many beneficial qualities. Sea Buckthorn is a natural source of Omega 7, an essential fatty acid. Omega 7 is specific to inflammatory skin conditions. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities, is very healing and soothing to the system inside and out.

Chamomile Tea is a wonderfully soothing tea, perfect before bed to help calm and relax.
